Client:

Meta Leap

Role:

UI/UX Designer

Date:

2025

Situation

Meta Leap is a blockchain-powered platform that enables users and creators to build, trade, and interact within a decentralized metaverse ecosystem — integrating digital identity, NFT ownership, and immersive experiences. When I joined, the product was in its early stage with a strong tech foundation but a complex and fragmented user flow, especially around wallet connection, NFT display, and 3D environment navigation. Non-technical users found the interface intimidating and unclear.

Task

As a UI/UX Designer, my task was to redefine the product experience — making the platform intuitive, visually consistent, and accessible to a broader audience beyond Web3 enthusiasts. Key objectives included:

  • Simplify the onboarding and wallet-connection process.
  • Design a cohesive visual system reflecting the futuristic and premium identity of Meta Leap.
  • Create a seamless bridge between Web3 functionality and traditional UX patterns

Action

Through user interviews and prototype testing with early adopters and NFT creators, I identified key pain points:

  • Wallet connection confusion: Users didn’t understand MetaMask prompts or trust connection security.
  • Overloaded visual elements: 3D backgrounds distracted from core actions.
  • NFT display inconsistency: Layout lacked hierarchy and context for assets.

Result

The new interface was adopted as the official UI foundation for Meta Leap’s web launch.

Received positive feedback from internal stakeholders and creators for being visually “futuristic yet easy to use.”

Helped the development team reduce iteration time by providing a structured and reusable design system.

Strengthened Meta Leap’s brand identity, aligning product visuals with its positioning as a next-generation metaverse platform.
